Roots

This small, yet powerful canvas, represents entangled roots and growth of floral worlds that make up most of my current works.

However, the roots interwoven in the ground remind us of the connections humans have - with other people, with themselves and their authenticity, with the place of their origin.

This seemingly abstract painting came to me after much reflection on my own origins and history, and very strong emotions I felt at the time of its creation. I feel it's like salt of the earth. 

Although small in size, this painting with earthly colours, warm browns, packs a lot of emotion and deserves a special place in someone's home and heart.
